Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing outdoor games of any variety (sports, tag, capture the flag, pirates, anything at all!)
I enjoy nature watching and collecting plants with children as a way of engaging with the world and understanding the importance of nature.
I love to build forts, play hide-and-seek, do scavenger hunts, make crafts, and do sensory activities that help us explore through touch, taste, sound, and smell.
I love dancing, singing, and art is one of my favorite hobbies.
I believe in a balance between cooperative and competitive play that allows children to learn how to be good sports as well as how to work with others in a rewarding way.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Is creating a secure, individual, and trusting relationship with the children I care for. I believe in the importance of letting children be children.
Children are exploring the world and through that learning morr about it everyday. In the process they are becoming who they will be for the rest of their lives. The role of a reliable, loving, and trustworthy relationship with a caretaker in giving a child the confidence to explore and grow is vital. They need to know that there is someone looking out for them and encouraging them. The most rewarding part of caring for a child is watching them grow knowing that you were able to help them take the steps to do so.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many sweet moments and memories with my young friends over the years, but perhaps my favorite is when the four girls I babysat regularly for years would run up to bed and ask me to sing them to sleep. More than that, I loved the point when they began to sing along with me.
I'm not a particularly good singer, but I love to sing and I know that most children love it as well. I sang these children songs that my parents sang to me and it was so wonderful to see it bring them the same joy they gave me as a child.

Babysitter Available in Provo, UT: Hannah C.
My name is Hannah I’m from Idaho but I am currently living in Utah going to school! I grew up babysitting the kids in my neighborhood and loved it! The kids and I would play outside on the swings or bikes. Inside we would play games and build things! I was able to take a short nannying job last summer in Virginia where I drove the kids around to summer camps. I love being with children and seeing the world through their eyes and experiencing the simple joys in life.
