One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a shy toddler say their first full sentence. We had been reading the same book every day, and one afternoon, they suddenly pointed to a picture and repeated the sentence with a big smile. Watching that moment of confidence and joy was incredibly rewarding.

It started with my younger siblings, Presently I take care of my granddaughters they are now 10 and 8 but I have taken care of them since the oldest was a year old. I went back to Georgia and cared for my daddy and he passed in September of 2019. I now see about my granddaughters and my mom who will be 80 in July. Amiri has Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus and I must say she wasn’t suppose to live past three hours she’s 4 years old now and doing well. My heart feels so good to be able to care for my family members.
