More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a preschool teacher with age range of 15 months to 2 1/2 years old! I had anywhere from 5-7 children in my class at a time. It was a blast!

I also worked in the school district as a paraprofessional in a self-contained special Ed classroom. It taught me a lot about being attentive and patience with any situation and I’m forever grateful for the experience.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Absolutely love going out and exploring with the children, taking them to the zoo, children’s museums, parks etc. I also enjoy arts and crafts, creating things and learning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being able to have balance. I think it’s extremely important to have a great relationship with the family and children to create trust and communication. This gives everyone the capability of performing at their best and I love seeing how I can help children grow while also reflecting on myself.

My experience with special needs children...

The experience I have with special needs was focused on children with moderate to severe disabilities. The children in the classroom I worked in were mostly wheel chair bound and non-verbal. It was such a great experience and I have a passion for helping however I can.
