I have previously worked at an afterschool program for children in elementary school. I worked there for 2 years and am certified in first aid and CPR training. I worked with children from the ages 4 to 12. In that position I was lead teacher and got to know them very well!
I also worked for KinderCare for a year and got to know the parents and children very well. At that position I worked with newborns/babies, 1-2 year old's, and 3+. I helped with feeding and diaper schedules. Also, I had great communication with the parents!

Indoor activities that I enjoy doing with the kids are reading books, coloring/art, cooking and baking, playing with toys, helping with homework, and anything the kids are interested in! :)
Outdoor activities include playing with chalk, going on a walk, swimming, biking, learning about nature, playing tag, and much more!

In all of my years of working with children and their families I learned that good communication and trust is very important. Also, while meeting so many amazing kids I learned every child is different. While caring for them I get to help each child to discover their own strengths and talents. I always want to have a great relationship with the kids and the parents.
