I worked as a special Ed technician in a kindergarten in [phone number hidden] at Santaquin elementary. I helped two kids in the kindergarten who were behind with their speech therapy, writing, reading, and math. And I would help sub randomly for that school and other schools!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about nannying is just loving the kids and really seeing them for who they truly are. I also think making an effort to show them you care about what is important to them helps create a good atmosphere and helps the kids feel more confident in themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
My little brother who will be 10 this year has Down syndrome and so I have a lot of love for people with special needs and a lot of experience. I also worked as a special Ed technician for a year in an elementary and have helped sub multiple special Ed classes including my little brothers!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I loved getting to watch the girls I nannied grow up and learn how to talk better and read better! They truly healed my heart in ways I didn't realize I even needed. I loved seeing the 5 year old always try to set a good example for her 3 year old sister.
