A little bit about me

I am continually told that I should’ve been a kindergarten teacher. I absolutely love being around children and seeing the world through their eyes. Surprisingly, I probably have more energy than they do, so I am happy to give them lots of attention and run off their energy. After about 13 years in Corporate America, I’m ready to have a career that brings me joy. I worked at a gym throughout college so I am very well-versed on CPR, and any other medical emergencies. I am highly organized, prioritize safety, I’m reliable, trustworthy, and will always put whatever the parents say first. I can assure you that whatever the parents say, goes. And that’s the end of the discussion. I like doing outdoor activities like riding bikes or going on the playgrounds with the kids, but I also enjoy indoor activities with the kids like reading, playing cards, board games and doing puzzles. I think that once you meet me in person you’ll see my enthusiasm, fun loving energy and zest for life!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve volunteered with children in low income settings where we taught them new skills and techniques. As a matter of fact, I just got back from Ecuador, where I worked with children in anyway needed

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Biking, Zumba/dancing parties, baking, playing on the playground, board games, watching sports and scrolling TikTok or other social media platforms that they are interested in, swimming, playing sports like basketball, pickleball, golf and soccer.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Setting a good example at all time because actions speak louder than words and they are always watching

My experience with special needs children...

My friends son is neurodivergent and I care for him when needed. My mom was also a special education elementary school teacher for 35 years before she retired.
