A little bit about me

Hello! I have been in the childcare industry for 12 years now. I took about a one year break from nannying to work in the toddler room of a Montessori school. I have worked with children of all ages, from the womb until about 10 years old. I am very organized and detail oriented. I think children operate best on a decent schedule so I try to implement that at work, although I am very easy-going and adaptable. I am happiest when I am given free reign to go to The Children’s Museum, The Aviary, parks, museums, libraries, etc. I have been with my current family for almost 8 years. I had my own baby 13 months ago and bring him to work with me. It was a very easy transition, as he is easily adaptable and a very easy-going baby. The kids that I nanny love him, and it has not gotten in the way of my responsibilities at work at all. We still go on play dates and take care of after school curricular activities just as we always have. I am an excellent communicator and strongly believe in open, honest communication with all of my families. I drive a 2013 Toyota Highlander that is spacious with third row seating. I am patient and loving, yet I feel it is very important to instill respect and responsibility in today’s children. I currently work 10-12 hour days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
