The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was helping a shy 4-year-old I cared for build confidence in reading. Every day, we would spend time with picture books, and I’d encourage her to sound out simple words. After a few weeks of consistent practice, she proudly read her first full sentence on her own and her face lit up with excitement! Watching her confidence grow and knowing I played a small part in that milestone was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me why I love working with children and how meaningful even the little moments can be.
