More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including as a nanny, caregiver, and after-school program teacher, as well as volunteering with youth programs at the YMCA. These roles have given me a strong foundation in supporting children’s development, maintaining structured routines, and creating a safe, engaging environment. I am First Aid and CPR certified and have extensive experience as a swim instructor, teaching children, adults, and individuals on the autism spectrum. I am especially comfortable working with children with diverse needs and specialize in providing patient, attentive, and individualized care.In addition, I have worked as a Behavioral Specialist supporting both children and adults with disabilities, which has strengthened my skills in behavior management, communication, and emotional support. I am calm, adaptable, and able to meet each child where they are while fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy a mix of both indoor and outdoor activities depending on the child’s age and interests. This includes arts and crafts, reading, educational games, and imaginative play, as well as outdoor activities like walks, park visits, and active play.
With my background as a swim instructor, I also enjoy incorporating water safety and swimming when appropriate. I like to keep kids engaged, active, and having fun while also supporting learning and development.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can grow, feel understood, and have fun. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with both the child and the family while being a dependable and positive presence in the child’s life.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working with children on the autism spectrum as well as children with developmental and behavioral needs. I’ve supported individuals with communication challenges, sensory sensitivities, and varying levels of independence.
Through my work as a Behavioral Specialist and caregiver, I’ve developed strong skills in patience, behavior management, routine building, and creating a calm, supportive environment. I focus on meeting each child where they are and providing individualized care that helps them feel safe, understood, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child I worked with become more confident in something they were initially nervous about. Over time, with patience and encouragement, I was able to see them grow more comfortable, open up, and feel proud of themselves. Teaching children new skills, like swimming has also made me fall in love with helping people in general. Moments like that are really meaningful to me and remind me why I love working with children.

Hello my name is Victoria, i am 23 years old, I do not have kids of my own but I have been around children my whole life. I started babysitting at 13, became a swim instructor, I worked at children's day camps during the summer, and then I was a preschool teacher full time for awhile! I absolutely love working with kids of all ages. I currently help out/ work for a family 3 days week late afternoon/ nights, but with COVID I haven't been able to work my actual career as a hairstylist. I figured now would be a good time to get back to working with kids while I'm unemployed
