A little bit about me

Hey! My name is Savannah, I am 19 years old and graduated from Corinth Holders high school in 2025. I attended JCC this previous fall for criminology and forensic science. I decided to drop for the spring due to deciding to change my major. I plan to go back to school in January for cosmetology. I would describe my personality as outgoing and bubbly but also laid back and just go with the flow. I have previous experience working at a dance studio for 3 years teaching kids ages 2-7 how to tap dance, do jazz, and tumble. Kids seem to kling to me as i’m very open minded and put all my attention into them. I am a very patient person and it takes me very little time to get the hang of things. I am transparent and open to any house rules or rules in general. Some of my hobbies are riding horses, playing soccer, and being with my friends and family. I enjoy planning fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that help children learn while having fun. For indoor activities, I enjoy arts and crafts, reading books, building with blocks or Legos, puzzles, baking simple treats together, educational games, and creative play. For outdoor activities, I enjoy going to playgrounds, nature walks, scavenger hunts, playing sports, riding bikes or scooters, visiting parks, and organizing fun outdoor games that encourage exercise and social interaction. I believe in creating a safe, positive environment where children can explore their interests, stay active, and build confidence.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy environment where children feel loved, supported, and comfortable being themselves. Beyond supervising daily activities, a nanny plays an important role in helping children grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Building a strong relationship with both the children and their parents through open communication, reliability, patience, and consistency is essential to providing the best care possible.

My experience with special needs children...

In my high school there was a club called circle of friends that gave others the chance to connect with special needs children and learn about there hobbies as well as playing different games with them. I attended the special olympics in 8th grade as well as 10th grade I planned to do it longer but due to an injury I was unable to. I still have interested in helping out with any special needs child that may need it!
