At the University Covenant Church (UCC) in Davis, I volunteered in the child and kitchen departments during summer a couple years in a row during the "Breakaway" program. This means that I was involved with watching children and cooking. When I aged out of that, I also nannied for a family friend and her 2 kids during the summer.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am very versatile and enjoy a large range of activities; I'm active and can enjoy throwing a football around, as well as cooking, video games, and playing music. I’ll even play dress up with kiddos if needed :)

Building a good relationship with not only the kids but the family as well; creating a foundation of trust and reliance between the kids and the nanny is important.
