My experience where I have cared for children has mostly been based around my childhood. I am from a family of 13 children ranging all ages. As well as taking care of my autistic brother.
I have also been a Day care teacher. I have taken care of children ages ranging from infant to 12 years of age. The primary age that I was in charge of was two, three, and four year old's.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What is important about being a nanny for me is simply spending quality time with special humans. I want to make a positive influence on these kids. I also know how difficult being an adult and parent can be therefore another important part of being a nanny is for mom and dad.

My brother is special needs. I also have had a special needs two year old I took care of while in the day care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment while watching children is a two year who became very out raged when his mom dropped him off everyday. He would scream for hours and bang on the windows until I grew a bond with him. He would cry of course when his mother left but because of that bond, he would stop crying and run around showing me every toy he could find.
When I was not his teacher and he would get dropped off, I was summoned to come grab him. He would only stop crying for me, we were best friends.
On his birthday he fell asleep in my arms . It was such a sweet moment to be involved with such a special baby on his birthday.
