Hello!

My name is Savannah, and I am a 25-year-old college graduate with 7 years of experience working with children while living abroad. I have been working with children since I was 16 however I gained most of my experience as an ESL nanny in both Italy and Spain. Most recently, I worked in Madrid as an English teacher, teaching full-time students aged 6–17 while also providing English tutoring for private families with children between the ages of 3-14.

Working as a head teacher in a school setting helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong ability to connect with children of all ages. I especially enjoy engaging in creative and artistic projects and reading with the children I care for.

I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have very open availability. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your family!

The most important part about being a nanny is the impact you make on the children you work with. Its essential to always be kind, patient, and understanding with the children but also flexible! Children frequently change their minds because they are constantly growing and developing. A good nanny is able to be flexible based on the child's and families needs.

When I lived and worked in Spain, I worked for a Spanish family with 2 children for 3 years. I primarily worked with their older son, Victor, starting from when he was 4 years old. I loved being able to watch him grow and learn and being such an important role model in his life. One of my favorite memories with him was going to the garden and looking at the different plants and bugs with his microscope!
