I am the oldest child in my family, so caring for children started at a young age. I'm also a mother to an amazing toddler, his speech & communication skills are incredible! I have been a nanny for approximately 10 years on & off, and have built wonderful relationships in the process. In addition to my personal life, I studied Early Childhood Education & Development in College.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading to children, we have a mini-library in our home! I love playing with kiddos, especially implementing art activities! We also dance, sing, use instruments, and play outside, learning about the natural world around us! We focus on emotional regulation, pretend play, art, puzzles, and books. We thrive on routine!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Consistency! Kids (and parents) must be able to rely on their nanny to provide consistent care, safety, love, and learning opportunities. We must always show up with kindness, modeling emotional regulation, and a schedule they can count on.
