I grew up in a household with many people who have learning disabilities. I, myself, am a special needs person, in that I have learned to deal with a chronic pain disorder, so I am familiar with the difficulties that come with special needs.

The child told me his bed time was 6:30, (it was already 8), but he claimed that since it was not currently 6:30, he didn't have to go to bed, because it wasn't his bed time. Came to find out his bedtime wasn't until 9, long after the parents arrived home. He didn't think it through all that well, but it was a very creative and excitable boy!
