I am a mother of 5...all grown and all married. I have 5 grandchildren that are the light in my life. I am a former United States Marine and was a SAHM once I started having children ..then worked in Distribution Management for 12 years until their doors closed. My husband and I then moved from NE Ohio to SE Ohio...bought a house with 11 acres...and started our dream of becoming homesteaders...growing vegetables and raising chickens. This location brought us closer to our grand babies and kids...making this now our forever home! I love the outdoors...baking...reading and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Aside from raising my own 5 children…after moving here from NE Ohio…I worked for a family with 2 children for almost 2 years. Wonderful children that I quickly grew to love. I handled all of their needs as well as light housekeeping and meal prep for the family. I am still close with the family but they relocated and the mom recently had another baby (June 2026) so she is staying home at this time. I worked 2 to 3 days a week…depending on their needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am very active and love being outdoors. I enjoy most recreational activities as well as indoor creative projects. I enjoy crafts and love to bake from scratch with my grand babies.
