A little bit about me

Hi there I’m serenity :) yes I may be young for a nanny but this is my passion and what I want to do for life so please don’t skip me because of my age 😊 I am a licensed childcare giver but turned down preschool teaching for nannying so I can get close with the kids I’m working with and build connections. I have a car and I am CPR/ first aid certified. I’m looking for a family to work with about 25-30 hours a week Mon- Friday 20$ an hour, I’m also willing to help parents with any errands, deliveries etc
I am needing extra money at the moment so I will be taking one time jobs as well and willing to be flexible with what I charge, I’m taking almost anything I can get :)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a nanny and I have worked at schools as a volunteer in the cafeteria, I also helped teach childrens golf classes growing up and worked with a elementary school girls on the run team 😃

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like swimming and going on adventures to parks, I love to color or play board games, I like to make forts and occasionally have a movie day. I dont like to sit around and be bored I like to have fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is making sure kids dont dread you coming. Sometimes they might feel like when they want to do something they arent supposed to and we say no (which to them sounds like "NO!!") We are angry with them when we arent. instead of harsh discipline just redirect nicely, you have to find a balance between being there authority and friend!

My experience with special needs children...

My younger foster brother has special needs and my other younger brother has autism

The most important part about being a nanny...

On my last day of nannying with one family I bought personalizied candied grapes for the kids and we went to roaring springs and I was sad to not be there nanny anymore but so happy with how the entire experience went and felt gratified with our grand finale
