Hello! My name is Shaina and I am 24 years old. I am very fun, outgoing, and kind. I have been working with children for roughly the past 8 years and I love it! I have been a teacher aide in multiple elementary classrooms throughout the years, worked at a daycare/preschool, worked as a nanny for two years, and recently received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education this past June. My original plan this past fall was to find a teaching job, but because of COVID, I have decided to pause my career until I can physically be in the classroom engaging with the children. I am now searching for a family that I can help love and care for their kids. :)

I worked at Happy Day Learning Center in Centralia, WA caring from children ages 0-5 for a little over a year until I got offered a nannying job which I then decided to take on for a little over two years.

Everything! I especially like to play sports, do arts and crafts, gross motor activities, and be as goofy as possible with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time I was picking up one of the children I used to nanny from school and as I walked outside where all the children were playing, all of the other kids noticed me and started to yell at the young boy I nannied, "Owen, Owen!! Your mom is here!!" That was when he replied, "That's not my mom that's my Shaina!" That moment simply melted my heart and will be a memory I will never forget.
