The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me is to treat your children how I would want mine to be treated. A safe place for your children and to make your lives a lot easier. I'm definitely on the "gentle parenting" side but I like to do it the right way!
My experience with special needs children...
I took care of a child from until he was 4 with autism. He had the most energy ever!
My nephews, who I babysat a lot (obviously unpaid) are both deaf & mild autism. The younger one has a very high case of ADHD so he's never sitting still. Watching them both grow and learn is so heartwarming! And it teaches me a lot myself!

The most important part about being a nanny...
There's nothing I love more than telling the kids I have to leave and them begging me to stay. I nanny for a family on the weekends and the kids get so upset when I have to go!
