More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club, where I helped support children in a structured, positive, and engaging environment. My duties included supervising groups of children, assisting with arts & crafts and recreational activities, helping with homework and reading time, serving snacks, and making sure all kids followed safety guidelines. I also supported staff members by helping maintain a clean, organized space and offering extra one-on-one attention to kids who needed it. This experience strengthened my patience, leadership, and ability to manage different personalities while keeping a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children. I incorporate a mix of creative, educational, active, and calming activities into our daily routine so kids stay entertained while also learning and growing. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, coloring, painting, building with blocks, and making fun DIY projects together. I also encourage outdoor play with games like tag, obstacle courses, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk to help kids stay active and burn off energy.

For quieter moments, I love reading books together, assisting with homework, working on puzzles, and playing memory or learning games. I also enjoy imaginative play like role-playing, dress-up, building forts, and creating fun stories together. During downtime, I’m happy to offer movie time, light yoga or stretching, baking simple treats, or just chatting with the kids about their day and feelings. My goal is always to keep children happy, stimulated, and supported in a positive and nurturing environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment for the children I care for. Safety always comes first — making sure kids are protected, routines are followed, and parents can feel confident leaving their little ones in my care. I also believe in being patient, understanding, and consistent, while keeping days fun, engaging, and full of learning opportunities. Clear communication with parents is key, so they always know how their kids’ day is going and feel supported. At the end of the day, my goal is to be someone both kids and parents can rely on, trust, and enjoy having around.

My experience with special needs children...

While I do not yet have extensive experience caring for children with special needs, I am patient, compassionate, and always willing to learn and adapt to meet each child’s individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time I was nannying for a family with two kids and we decided to build a giant fort under the dining room table using every blanket and pillow we could find. It honestly turned into a whole vibe lol movies, snacks, books, all of it happening in the fort. The parents later told me the kids refused to sleep in their actual room for THREE days because they were so obsessed with their “new house” haha!
