Hi, my name is Shamya! I’m 18, just graduated high school, & am excited to start college with the goal & ambitions of becoming a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant. My passion for working with children has been evident through my 7 months at the YMCA, where I loved engaging with kids, supervising them while parents worked out, being a summer camp counselor & assisting during Parents' Night Out. My love for childcare began at 16 at Chuck E. Cheese, & despite exploring other job fields, I’ve realized that working with kids is where my heart truly lies. I feel that kids bring out the best in me, and I am genuinely committed to supporting & nurturing them in a positive way!
