As a Teacher Assistant and Paraprofessional, I worked closely with children to provide individualized support, assist with classroom activities, encourage positive behavior, and create a safe and welcoming environment. As a Daycare Teacher, I cared for children through daily activities, play, learning, meals, and routines while ensuring their safety and well-being.

I enjoy doing a variety of fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities with children. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading books, music and dancing, outdoor play, walks, playground visits, puzzles, board games, and educational activities. I also enjoy helping children explore their creativity and learn new skills through hands-on activities.

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, cared for, respected, and supported. I believe a nanny should be dependable, patient, attentive, and understanding while creating a positive environment where children can learn, play, and be themselves.

Building trust with both the children and their parents is also very important to me. I want families to feel confident knowing their children are in caring and responsible hands.

I have experience working with children with special needs through my role as a Paraprofessional. In this position, I provided individualized support based on each child’s unique needs, abilities, and learning style. I assisted with daily routines, classroom activities, communication, social skills, and behavior support while helping create a safe and encouraging environment.

I understand the importance of patience, consistency, compassion, and clear communication when caring for children with different needs. I enjoy building positive relationships with children and supporting their independence, confidence, and development while working closely with families and other caregivers.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with children is seeing their excitement when they learn or accomplish something new. I especially enjoy those little moments when a child becomes proud of themselves after completing an activity, learning a new skill, or reaching a goal they have been working toward.

What makes childcare so rewarding for me is being able to encourage children, celebrate their progress, and watch their personalities and confidence grow. Those everyday moments are what make working with children so meaningful to me.
