A little bit about me

I am a graduate student and a first year teacher! I am obtaining my masters in education and received a BS in English Literature from Texas A&M. I believe my interests reflect that I am a lovely balance of active and reverent, as I love to read and write, but also love to go to the gym, long walks, and play water polo. I also love cooking (especially my homemade pesto pasta) and watching old movies.

I love children and always have. I have worked with children in a variety of roles from being a swim coach, to an after-school care counselor, to a teacher. I make it my mission to ensure in all of these roles that I help the child learn and grow in not just subject matter, but also in how they present themselves as a person of the world.

I am looking to fulfill a flexible summer role while I am not teaching.
