The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are the performances/games/meets and more that happen outside of nanny hours that I get to attend! Seeing the little kid swim for the first time, the final soccer game of the season, that backyard musical they worked so hard on. Being a member of the household, to me, means showing up in the celebration and the milestones that matter most to the kids. When I commit to a family I dedicate so much more than just time on the clock, it brings me so much joy to share in all the moments.

My job is great and I love everything about it, the only thing is when summer time comes around it’s not as reliable. I’m looking for more consistent hours for those couple of months and I think a nannying position will help with that. In my position currently I work with TK and Kindergarten as a lead for my aftercare program. I am also CPR and First Aid certified as my job requires us to be and we do refreshers for that once a year. This is the best job I’ve had and it’s allowed me to grow as a person and in my role as a counselor. Working with kids comes with its challenges but it’s so rewarding and they are so refreshing to be around. They allow me to find the silliness and childlike wonder within myself and I think everybody could use that once in a while. Overall, I’m excited to start this new journey and I hope you got to know me a bit better.
