The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and their family. Children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and supported — emotionally, physically, and developmentally. Being consistent, patient, and truly present allows me to create that safe space where kids can grow, explore, and be themselves.
At the same time, clear communication with parents is key. Working as a team ensures the child’s routines, values, and needs are respected and supported at every level. Ultimately, being a nanny is not just about care — it’s about connection.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children who have a variety of special needs, including:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
• Sensory Processing Disorder
• Speech and language delays
• Developmental delays
• Anxiety and emotional regulation challenges
• Physical disabilities (requiring mobility support or adaptive equipment)
• Food allergies and dietary restrictions
I approach each child with patience, compassion, and a personalized strategy to help them feel safe, understood, and supported in their daily routines.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments as a nanny are the little victories and connections that happen each day — like watching a toddler take their first steps, hearing a child read a full sentence out loud for the first time, or seeing their face light up during an art project they’re proud of.
I love those quiet, silly, or heartwarming times: building forts on rainy days, dancing in the living room to their favorite songs, or having deep conversations with a 4-year-old about how the moon works. Helping children grow in confidence and independence while creating a safe, joyful space for them to be themselves is what makes this work so rewarding.
