Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a nanny for several families, worked for a nanny service that placed me with families of many different demographics and ages, and worked in a daycare caring for up to 14 kids at a time with my coworkers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy baking with the kids, playing elaborate games, dancing and singing with them, and encouraging sensory play and outdoor play whenever possible

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I can provide a safe space physically and emotionally for a child, one where they feel like they can be 100% themselves and happy, I have succeeded.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked alongside 2 children on the autism spectrum, a 10 year old, a 7 year old. In addition I've worked with a 2 year old and a 7 year old with severe ADHD.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I used to watch a little buddy named Finn, who I eventually stopped working with when he started kindergarten. But his mom called me to surprise him after his first couple weeks of school. I picked him up at the bus stop and he ran off the bus, forgetting his backpack, and ran into my arms. I almost cried it was so sweet. I made him go back for his spiderman backpack though, but not before a big hug
