More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have cared for cousins from both sides of my family ages 2-12, driving to birthdays. Making food, putting to sleep, playing outside, heling with homework, and facilitating chores are all in my wheelhouse.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
playing outside, going to museums, arts and crafts, board games, sports, and balancing responsibilities with fun activities such as playing videogames or watching a movie here and there (if allowed).
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kids are having a good time while making them feel as safe as possible while insuring the best care to the parents. maintaining rules and routines is also really big for me because I want to make sure that their normal habits aren't changed while being nannied.
My experience with special needs children...
My cousin is on the spectrum, and I have helped care for him since he was really young. with managing my own ADHD I have some tools and ways to approach things to make them more fun and ways to organize time for homework with taking breaks.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Really just seeing the kids having fun together seeing the smile on their faces. One time I was watching my cousins and we had a slip and slide in the front yard that for me was really memorable.
