During high school, I worked as a Teacher's Assistant in the Special Education program, supporting students with a variety of needs, including nonverbal autism, Down syndrome, and behavioral challenges. My responsibilities included helping plan and supervise physical education activities, assisting students who needed extra support during meals, and ensuring that each child remained engaged in appropriate activities throughout the day. I regularly accompanied students on walks around the track field and organized recreational activities in the gymnasium using PE equipment.

The activities I enjoy doing with children vary because every child has different interests and personalities. I believe it's important to find activities that each child enjoys and feels comfortable participating in. Some of my favorite activities include spending time outdoors, doing arts and crafts, having movie and popcorn nights, playing board games, and encouraging creative play. I am also open to trying new activities and adapting to each child's interests.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children feel supported and happy. I enjoy getting to know each child's unique personality and finding activities they love. Whether it's playing outside, doing crafts, reading stories, or helping with homework, I enjoy being actively involved and making each day fun and engaging. As someone who hopes to become a nurse, caring for others is something I am passionate about.
