More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I have cared for children includes:
I have extensive hands-on experience working with children in both professional and volunteer settings. I have previously worked as a teacher, where I supported children’s academic, social, and emotional development in a structured learning environment. In addition, I have experience as a nanny, providing attentive, nurturing, and reliable in-home care tailored to each child’s individual needs. I also regularly babysit for my church, which has allowed me to care for children of various ages while fostering a safe, positive, and supportive atmosphere. These experiences have strengthened my ability to build trusting relationships with children and families, manage routines, and create engaging, age-appropriate activities in a warm and loving environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy environment where children feel genuinely cared for and supported. A professional nanny builds strong relationships through patience, consistency, and open communication, while encouraging each child’s growth, confidence, and individuality.
I also think having a professional, but loving relationship with the parents is very important because they need to know their children are safe and loved with the person that’s in their home

My experience with special needs children...
I worked hands-on as an ESE paraprofessional
I also had a special-needs child in church that I took care of for a while

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was during a walk with Lila when she stopped to pick a flower and handed it to me, saying, “This flower is almost as beautiful as you.” It was such a sweet and genuine moment that reminded me how meaningful it is to build trusting, loving relationships with the children I care for.
