I have done volunteer work with the nursery at my past church, I have watched all three of my aunts children, One of them is special needs and non verbal and we have a great time! I also have a four year old brother who I have watched since he was in infant and a 14 year old brother I have been watching since he was 6.

I love to do crafts with the kids. And i love to sing and dance around with them attest my brother finds that very entertaining, coloring and going to the park really anything you can think of i like doing with them!

the most important part about watching children is making sure that they are safe, the second is making sure they are happy, kids can sense your mood and most of the time if you aren't happy won't be happy themselves so you have to make a good environment for them
My experience with special needs children...
My aunt has a special needs daughter she is 12 she is non verbal and spends most of her time in a chair. despite all of this she is very sweet and full of energy, her favorite thing to do is play patty cake. I have watched her on several occasions fed bathed her and put her to bed.
