A little bit about me

I began my childcare career when my distant family created their own business. With starting a business, they didn’t have enough time to devote to their three young children. So, I stepped in to help for a couple years. When I moved to Virginia, I worked at two small in-home daycares. I only left these to move to D.C. for two years. But, now I’m back and excited to get back into childcare! As an added bonus, I have experience in the veterinary office field as well, so I'm very comfortable caring for any pets in the house too! :)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I also helped with my 3 infant cousins because my uncle was a welder and my aunt was a nurse, so they frequently needed help. It was so much fun.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I would love to take kids to any practices they need to go to or take them to the park, or basically anything they wanna do with the consent of their parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is to keep the kids safe, fed, and happy and to care for each kid with each’s specific needs and wants with every instruction from parents.

My experience with special needs children...

One of my cousins is paralyzed from the mid-abdomen through his feet. He frequently needs help doing everyday things and I always help him.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A funny moment for me was when I was vacuuming and the little girl wanted to help so she tried to take the vacuum so I turned it off so she could wheel it around (of course I was holding the weight so she couldn’t drop it on herself) and she had the best time.
