Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Swimming, hiking, fun/real gardening. I am also a crazy person about holiday activities: Polar Express hot chocolate/popcorn "parties", ice/snow making, Halloween fun, Valentine's Day school projects, coloring eggs, etc., etc. I've become a master of making rainbow pasta with the kids and "hiding" healthy stuff in their favorite foods. Also, ANYTHING outdoors is perfect.

My experience with special needs children...
I have been a swim teacher specializing in autistic students for 11 years. Two of my dearest friends of 40 years have autistic children, which lead me to wanting to teach special needs people to swim for safety.
