Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I used to be a live in nanny for some family members from age 15-18. And have been babysitting since I was around the age of 12. I am currently a nanny for two families ages 4mo-9yrs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy having a full schedule with the children I watch. Whether that be any arts and crafts, reading books, and going outside to the park or swimming.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny for me is making sure the parents know that their children are safe in my care. I always strive for a safe environment. I do tend to hover quite a bit though in fear of the children getting hurt.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently have no experience with special needs children but I am always open to learning. I used to work in a couple nursing homes/ assisted livings. So working with the elderly helped with having to learn new things everyday.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I can never pick one specific favorite moment while being a nanny. Everyday I wake up excited to be able to watch the children and help them learn and grow while having days fully of belly laughs.
