I grew up with my special needs cousin we are only 20 days apart. I would volunteer in high school as one of my electives to be a helper in the special needs classroom. I have been a substitute aid at schools for special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable moment for caring for someone would have to be being able to see them smile and laugh. To let them know they are special. I would take one of my clients to go feed the ducks, geese and fish at a community pond in Hamilton. To see her light up with life and talk to the animals, was heart warming.
