I did internships my senior year of high school . So I got to be in a classroom for a day and be a teacher aide. I got to work in a daycare at Tidalhealth for almost two years as a teacher. I worked with kids on their emotional learning, their development of skills, etc.

I don’t have a lot of experience with special needs children but I have had the privilege to work with a few of them. They are some of the sweetest people despite their challenges, whether it be they can’t talk or walk or feed themselves. They are some of the smartest people I’ve had the privilege to teach.
