I have been a child caregiver for 6 years, in many different settings. i was a babysitter and was also a kids pastor at the church i attended. I have an associates general studies degree with emphasis on psychology and am currently going to school for my early childhood education degree as well as my neonatal nursing degree.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing games inside on rainy days and coloring, helping them learn colors, shapes and helping them with homework. Playing outside, like sports or tag, going for walks or going to the park.

Being able to make the child feel comfortable and letting them have room to grow into their own person. Being able to communicate with the parents so everyone is on the same page. Just being loving and kind and watching the child/children grow.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when i was watching this sweet little 3 year old girl. We had gone for a walk and she got into a puddle and got all wet, it was summer time so i didn't think much of it. We got back to her house and was helping her change. She was wearing batman boxers and i said "i love you unders, they are so cute" she looks at me and says "that's a very nice thing to say" my heart melted! she was so cute and polite and sweet.
