A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Shyanne Gardner. I am currently a Grace College Freshman Studying Criminal Justice and Counseling and minoring in Spanish and Pre-law. I have lots of previous work with children of all ages. I started by volunteering in the nursery at my church in middle school and since then have babysat for multiple families. I took care of a family's children for 4 years before moving to college. They had a 1 year old when I started and a 3 year old. The little girl has special needs, and I have previously worked in the special needs class at my church. I also volunteered for the best buddies team at my school, so I feel confident to work with special needs children as well if that is the case! I am prepared to fix meals, bathe children, and get them ready for bed. I have done overnights before for families, and I feel confident in my ability to take care of children. I also know how to operate car seats if need be. Lastly, I am CPR certified for emergency situations.
