One evening, while babysitting a lively 5-year-old, we decided to build the “tallest pillow fort in the world.” After stacking every pillow and blanket in the house, we turned it into a secret clubhouse with flashlights and snacks, pretending we were explorers on a jungle adventure. Suddenly, their pet cat leaped onto the fort, causing the whole thing to collapse, leaving us in a giggling heap of pillows. Instead of being upset, the child declared it “the best fort crash ever,” and we spent the rest of the night rebuilding and improving our design. To this day, their parents say they still talk about “Pillow Fort Cat-astrophe Night” with the biggest smile!
