The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny for me is just letting kids be kids! I find many nannies and teachers who are so focused on kids perfecting every little thing in their life, and as important as learning is, there still children! They will make mistakes, get angry, scream, yell, be sad, cry over the littlest things, and my job as a nanny is to help them discover and learn to articulate those emotions and developmental milestones!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time I was watching the twins, and we had plans to play outside all day but it started pouring! We were going to continue building in the sandbox, it made them very sad, so instead we spent the entire day building a HUGE indoor fort that included a kitchen, princess bedroom, and most importantly a family room:)
