Not a nanny but a family I frequently babysit for... I was watching onward with the daughter who is 5 and we were sitting next to each other when she asked to snuggle and it was just so cute and I felt like I was doing something right. She felt safe enough to lay with me and comfortable enough to ask and I realized “I love this feeling”. I’m too young to have kids of my own and It made me think I could be a good mom. I live for those peaceful, happy moments. It’s makes all the tantrums and scary things worth it. For that peaceful moment. I want to connect with the kids I care for and I want them to know that adults aren’t scary. We just want to love and protect them. I’m known as the floater at my work and I have yet to really bond with a child as I’m tossed from room to room
