Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I took a year of ECE at Sanford Regional Technical Center which educated me about childcare for preschool ages. I worked in a preschool setting with about 16 children. I was doing crafts, math, writing, reading and dramatic play with each child, helping them through their development and understanding learning. All in all, this was an amazing opportunity for me.

I love being outside with kiddos, creating artwork with them, dolls, hide and seek, and going on, "nature walks".
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is always safety, making sure the child feels safe and protected with another adult being responsible for them, and always having fun. I think it's important to stay in touch with the parents so they are up to date on how everything is going, incase they have concerns or questions etc.
