More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have four years of experience as an infant swim instructor, where I worked one-on-one with babies, toddlers, and young children. I’ve also worked at a daycare center, supporting daily routines, playtime, feeding, diapering, and helping maintain a safe classroom environment. I have additional experience babysitting children of various ages, from infants to pre-teens.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing anything that combines fun, creativity, and learning! Some of my favorite activities are outdoor play, sensory activities, story time, arts and crafts, swimming, practicing motor skills, playing pretend, and helping with early learning skills like letters, colors, and counting. I enjoy creating activities that match each child’s age and personality.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust with the children and the parents. Creating a safe, loving, consistent environment helps children feel confident and supported. I believe being reliable, patient, and nurturing allows kids to grow, learn, and feel comfortable in their daily routines. Being a nanny means becoming a positive role model and someone families can count on.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently teach swim lessons for children with special needs, which has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills. I always work to understand each child’s individual needs and create a safe, supportive environment where they can feel confident and successful. I’m very comfortable adjusting routines and activities to match each child’s abilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was seeing a child I worked with overcome a skill they had been struggling with for weeks. Watching their confidence grow and seeing how proud they were of themselves reminded me why I love working with kids. Those little milestones mean everything.
