I have cared for special needs once when I was younger working in a daycare! I treat the child no differently and still have them participate with activities and learning! You never know how much a child can learn and open up to you treating them like a person.

When my first nanny job the child wasn’t used to me and didn’t want to play and cried for their parents! I eventually got them to open up to me and when it was time for me to leave he didn’t want me to go. My proudest moment is when I can make the whole family feel comfortable.
