More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children to learn and explore. Some of the activities I enjoy doing with kids include arts and crafts, reading books together, outdoor play, nature walks, baking simple treats, and creative play that encourages imagination.
I also enjoy helping with learning activities like practicing letters, numbers, and problem-solving through games. I’m happy to support daily routines such as homework time, meal prep, and tidying up while making sure the kids feel cared for, entertained, and encouraged throughout the day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel valued and understood. Kids thrive when they feel secure and encouraged, so I focus on being patient, attentive, and consistent in how I care for them.
I believe a great nanny not only helps with daily routines and responsibilities, but also supports a child’s emotional growth, curiosity, and confidence. Forming a positive relationship with both the children and their parents is key to creating a happy, stable environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with special needs, particularly those with autism and ADHD. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, supportive environment where children feel safe and understood.
I’m comfortable working with routines, helping manage transitions, encouraging positive behavior, and adapting activities to meet each child’s individual needs and interests. My goal is always to build trust, support their development, and make sure they feel confident, respected, and encouraged while having fun and staying engaged.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite and most meaningful moments working with children was when I cared for a young boy who had been held back in first grade because his reading skills weren’t where they needed to be. I stepped into the role of his homeschool teacher and worked closely with him throughout the year, focusing on building his confidence and making learning enjoyable rather than stressful.
Watching his progress was incredibly rewarding. By the end of the year, he had improved so much that he tested at a third-grade reading level. Seeing how proud he was of himself and knowing I helped him gain that confidence and love for learning is something I’ll always carry with me. Experiences like that are why I truly enjoy working with children and supporting their growth.
