A little bit about me

Hello my name is Sinead Keddie and I’m a certified infant, toddler, preschool and school age teacher and I would love to start babysitting and being a nanny I think I would enjoy it more I do have my license and I’m close to getting my self a new car. Some things about me I babysat when I was 11 to about 16 and when I was in high school I got into early childhood education and loved it I got certified when I graduated then I started working in an elementary school and did after school program then I moved up to a daycare and loved it and then I switched my daycares that I worked in and I’m really looking forward to babysitting and being a nanny I think I would have more interest like when I was in high school

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a elementary school teacher as an after school teacher for two years
Then I became a preschool teacher at a daycare for a year and half
Then I became a toddler teacher at a daycare

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities that I like doing with children are going for walks playing at the park and if it’s winter I love to play in the snow with them also in the summer it’s fun to do water play activities. For indoor activities I love to play games with them and color and crafts if they like art and my favorite thing is sensory stuff and also love art things

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve never been a nanny before but I have babysat before and I think the most important thing is love and care for the child or children be there for them and help them when they need it and be their friends when they need it as well and also mentor them if there at that age but mainly love and care for them as if they were your own

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have much experience with special needs kids I have worked with two kids that were and it’s always challenging but once you get to know them it can be easier to help them the right way and the best way that works for them

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don’t have any favorite nanny moments but I do have some favorite teacher moments from being a preschool teacher and a toddler teacher. My favorite moment as a preschool teacher was when one of my students came in in all things Spider-Man and went by Spider-Man and was doing all these tricks and being like miss Sinead look I’m spider man I’m getting the bad guy. And another one of my favorite moments as a preschool teacher is quite simple but beautiful and sad when it was time for him to transition into the preschool class he was running around and on my leg having me carry him around and have him say miss Sinead I don’t want to leave I’m going to miss you
