More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked as an Assistant Teacher/Infant caregiver and a College babysitter, both in Austin, TX. I have also worked in Houston, TX as a Gymnastics coach and Dance Instructor! Before all of those, I would watch my two younger nieces from when they were newborns to when the oldest turned 14, still watching them every now and then of course!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outdoors ad much as we can/are able to! Going for walks or to the park! Picking flowers or counting how many butterflies we see! I also love doing arts and crafts! I can make bracelets, we can color/paint or if they're old enough, I can play video games too!
My experience with special needs children...
I have only once professionally worked with a child with special needs. Though I've only done it that once on record, from freshman to senior year of high school, I would watch a close friends niece with SMA almost every week. I would have to pick her up from her wheelchair to move her wherever. I would also do more serious things such as helping change her feeding tube.
