More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at La Petite Academy caring for children ages 6 months to 3 years old in a daycare setting. My responsibilities included diaper changes, feeding, age-appropriate learning activities, assisting with early childhood lesson plans, supervising outdoor play, and providing comfort and care during drop-offs or minor injuries. I also communicated daily updates with parents through a childcare app to ensure they stayed informed about their child’s day and development.
I also worked as a nanny for two children, ages 9 and 11, where I handled school drop-offs and pick-ups, prepared lunches and assisted with dinners, coordinated playdates and after-school activities, planned engaging summer activities, and helped with homework and test preparation during the school year.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities that keep kids active, creative, and entertained. Some of my favorite things to do with children include arts and crafts, board games, outdoor games like tag or throwing a baseball, swimming and pool days, and planning fun age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and confidence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of nannying is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. Building a strong relationship with both the children and parents is very important to me, along with being dependable, patient, and attentive to each child’s individual needs and personality.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Asheville, NC: Meg R.
Hey there,
I am a ceramic artist and educator with a passion for making creative spaces. I have been working as a certified and trained in-home care provider since 2016. I am comfortable with children from the ages of 2 months and upwards, and I have experience working with multiples and children with special needs. I am always willing to meet the child and family where they are and grow from there.
I love to spend time outdoors and like to stay moving - I consider myself a self starter. I don't use screen time as play, and would much rather go for a walk to the park, pick up a book from the library, or make up a game.
Looking forward to new connections!
