More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several years of hands-on experience caring for children across a wide range of ages. For three years, I worked as a nanny for three children (ages 5–11), where I managed daily routines including school pick-ups, transportation to extracurricular activities, and evening routines. I was also trusted with overnight care for multiple days while the parents were traveling.
In addition, I have provided occasional babysitting for children ages 1–4 and 10–14, adapting my approach based on each age group’s needs. I also worked at a tutoring center for two years, where I supported children academically and communicated closely with parents to ensure their children’s success.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating a balance of fun, engaging, and enriching activities for children. I enjoy staying active by taking them to the park, going on walks, or planning outings like museums and other local activities. At home, I like to encourage creativity through reading, puzzles, arts and crafts, and imaginative play.
I’m also happy to support with schoolwork and homework. I’m comfortable helping with math up to pre-algebra and especially enjoy helping with language arts, reading, writing, and history/social studies, along with some science. My goal is always to create a positive, stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is recognizing how impressionable children are and the responsibility that comes with that. It’s important to help foster healthy mindsets and be mindful of how we speak to them, treat them, and the values we model every day.
As a nanny, we have the opportunity to make a meaningful, positive impact, not only on a child’s development and confidence, but also on the overall well-being of the family. I take that responsibility seriously and always strive to provide care that is thoughtful, supportive, and nurturing.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with a range of special needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, high-functioning autism, and anxiety disorders. I’ve supported children with reading challenges by using patient, encouraging techniques, and I understand the importance of structure, clear communication, and consistency, especially for children with ADHD or on the spectrum.
I also prioritize creating a calm, supportive environment for children with anxiety, helping them feel safe, understood, and confident. I approach each child with patience and adaptability, always tailoring my care to meet their individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was reconnecting with the children I used to care for after several years. Seeing how much they had grown and hearing that they still remembered and missed me as much as I missed them was incredibly touching. It reminded me that the connections you build with children are truly special and long-lasting, which is one of the most meaningful parts of being a nanny.
