A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Sofia and I would love to help care for your little ones. I have several years of experience caring for children as a nanny/babysitter, but also work as a part time k-12 academic tutor (which adds to my experience working with children of varying ages). I have been a nanny for babies (0-11mo), while the parent(s) have been re-adjusting to life with a newborn, but also have experience babysitting toddlers, children, and pre-teens while the parent(s) are at work. I also have experience caring for children with special educational and/or physical needs.
Aside from work experience, I enjoy art, nature, learning, and know how to cook and clean in case there is any housework/meal prep needed.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a part-time academic tutor for students of varying ages, I also volunteered at my former church's nursery and had experience babysitting 5-10 babies/toddlers at the same time, and I also have a younger brother which I helped care for as I was growing up.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy nature, music, languages, and learning about new things, so I thoroughly enjoy including those things in activities with children! I always like to include fun, yet educational, activities with children so that they may expand their minds and learn something new in fun ways. Even a short trip to a local park or one's own backyard is an opportunity for learning!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is getting to be a source of positivity while caring for the child/children. I take babysitting/nannying very serious as I know parents are trusting me with their most precious gifts, their children.

I have experience caring for children with special educational/physical needs. I am an academic tutor, so I have experience working with children with different special educational needs, but have also helped care for children with special physical needs while babysitting/nannying.
