While in High school I helped out at my middle school St. Gregory the Great with there summer transitional kindergarten classes. The kids were fun to be around and I really enjoyed it! I helped out the teachers throughout the day doing arts and crafts with the kids, singing songs and dancing, learning our number and days of the week, and assisting to the children's needs. I also frequently watch my niece Mila. She is now in school but I would typically watch her about 3 days a week from 7am-6pm.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy watching my kids, we always have so much fun together. We like going to the park, going to local museums, going on walks, playing outside and inside, and coloring. I overall really enjoy taking the kids to different outings whether it’s just to the park or to the aquarium.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Other than the kids of course one of the most important thing to me is interaction. Interaction is so important to me. To interact with my kids with 100% of my attention, instead of being on my phone the whole time and giving them half responses. It is so important to play with them and communicate with them even if I am not feeling my best I always put them first :)
